Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." We'd just like to paraphrase that and say, "Educating a farmer is the most powerful weapon which we can use to improve the Earth." 

The ARDEA (Agriculture, Rural Development & Environmental Awareness) Foundation, is an NGO dedicated to the improvement of farming practices and the lives of farmers; thereby improving the the entire ecosystem of rural India. However, the even bigger picture is that when you improve the lifestyle of one of the largest agrarian economies of the world and teach them better agricultural practices, you ensure that they create a better country. And a better Earth.
